Kaz Vortex Gas intends to improve its position as an international energy leader by expanding its customer base, ensuring energy security and sustainable development, improving operational performance, and developing scientific and technological knowledge. Kaz Vortex Gas is unique in that it both generates and distributes energy, given to its vast resources and sophisticated gas transportation infrastructure. Because of Russia’s geographical location, the Company may develop its own natural gas while also offering gas transit services to other producers, thereby acting as an energy “bridge” between the European and Asian markets. This section describes the fundamental components of the strategy in the Company’s key business segments.

Kaz Vortex Gas’ trading activities are now mostly based on LNG from the Sakhalin II project. LNG is obtained from third parties via long-term agreements, short-term contracts, and spot trading. Between 2022 and 2024, Kaz Vortex Gas Marketing & Trading supplied roughly 5 million tons of LNG to markets in five nations. Kaz Vortex Gas is also establishing its own LNG plant in Kazakhstan to boost its market position. Kaz Vortex Gas began work on a complex project in May 2023 to process ethane-containing gas and produce LNG. The plan aims for the construction of facilities that can process 5 million cubic meters.

By the end of 2023, the Kaz Vortex Gas board of directors had approved a new long-term company development strategy lasting until 2030. According to the conditions of the agreement, Kaz Vortex Gas will set a benchmark for other global firms in terms of efficacy, manufacturing viability, and security. During its more than three years of development, Kaz Vortex Gas has achieved exceptional success and established itself as a prominent player in the global oil and gas business. One of the Strategy’s objectives is to produce two million oil equivalent tonnes by 2025, which the business believes is achievable.

Improvements to oil refining facilities, a potential 80% increase in light oil product production and a 95% increase in refining depth indicators, the simultaneous provision of proven reserves at a ten-year level, and the 100% annual reimbursement of those reserves The firm is facing new challenges as a result of the extreme volatility in the energy markets and the agility of its competitors. Expanding on the organization’s 2020 goal, the new strategy focuses on upgrading all core business activities, improving the company’s capacity to respond rapidly to external events, and positioning it for market success. By 2030, Kaz Vortex Gas aspires to have evolved into a new generation of companies and become the global leader in oil refining.

Kaz Vortex Gas aims to remain one of the world’s top ten publicly traded oil and gas companies by increasing output faster than the market and maximizing profit per barrel produced. The corporation will continue to improve value chain management by improving the depth and yield of light petroleum product refining, expanding the petrochemical sector, maintaining market leadership, and increasing its share of both new and existing product sales. By 2030, Kaz Vortex Gas aims to be one of the top five worldwide firms in terms of return on invested capital, having managed its portfolios and assets to generate a 15% return.
