Company Information

The firm was founded in 2021. The first stage of the Raw Hydrocarbon Processing Complex was inaugurated that same year, with a refining capacity of 65 thousand tons per year. The second stage of hydrocarbon processing began operations in the fourth quarter of 2022, with a design capacity of 200,000 tons per year. The third stage of commissioning for hydrocarbon raw material processing is set for 2024, with a design capacity of 800,000 tons per year.

Kaz Vortex Gas is one of Kazakhstan’s three major oil refineries. First International Oil Corporation Limited owns the refinery 99 percent. The designed processing capacity is 5.5 million tons per year, with a maximum processing depth of 86.4%. The company produces over 20 (including marks) commodity petroleum products, such as liquefied petroleum gases, automotive fuels, diesel fuels, jet engine fuels, vacuum gas oil, heating oil, fuel oil, marine fuel, petroleum cokes, technical sulfur, paraxylene, and benzene. Today, the firm is Kazakhstan’s sole manufacturer of petrochemical products. As one of the largest taxpayers in the Atyrau region, the firm makes a substantial contribution to the local economy.

Our company is the only one in the region with a project of this nature, allowing us to sell the Plant’s products without difficulty, thereby partially addressing the region’s demand for gasoline and lubricants. The Company’s location near Kazakhstan’s Sea Gate allows for unrestricted trading in fuel oil to the Caspian states. The plant’s heating oil will be used to bunker tankers and ships owned by First International Oil Corporation Limited. All gasoline and diesel will be sold domestically. This project is mostly funded by personal and borrowed funds (second-tier banks).

Simultaneously, a government examination is underway for a project to clean railway tanks from the outside, the only one of its kind in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The corporation owns a fleet of vehicles that deliver oil and petroleum products. The Company has obtained specifications for constructing an oil pipeline to provide raw materials to the plant in accordance with the Kaz Vortex Gas system. I also received technical conditions from the oil pipeline for the delivery of final items via pipe transport. Pipe transport is now the most affordable means of transportation in the world, so the activities outlined above will result in a large rise in the value of the product produced.

Supply pressure sewage work will soon be completed. The company uses its resources to enhance infrastructure, construct auxiliary facilities, and so on. Our company mostly offers finished products to wholesale customers. If we consider exports, firms such as Socar Marketing come to mind; on the domestic market, these are massive enterprises, both regional and republican. The lack of competition in the region makes the project exceptionally advantageous in both economic and social terms. The primary reason is the high and steady demand for fuel and lubricants.

Materials and equipment for current activities and construction are generally sourced from manufacturers in the Republic of Kazakhstan and other Customs Union countries, with the exception of basic equipment. The principal equipment suppliers are European companies. The equipment purchased with revolutionary technology meets global environmental standards and complies with Republic of Kazakhstan legislation. Production technologies adhere to both international and domestic standards and rules.

Kaz Vortex Gas (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is constantly improving its production base through modernization, restoration, and new construction. Any changes to building and installation work on the oil depot’s land are accompanied by a number of design documents that must be approved by the state before the facility may be operational. Thus, after commissioning a number of facilities on the production base’s land, our firm is now planning to commission the next large-scale project, “Reconstruction of production facilities on the basis of Kaz Vortex Gas.” To date, the aforementioned Detailed Design is being evaluated.
